Switching your Text App number to a new device is a simple process. Here's how:
1. Use the Same Apple ID:
Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID on the App Store of your new phone. This is the same ID you used to download and subscribe to Text App on your old phone.
2. Download and Launch Text App:
Download the Text App app from the App Store on your new phone and open it.
3. Follow the Introduction:
You might see some introductory slides when you first launch the app. Just follow the on-screen prompts.
4. Grant Permissions (Optional):
Text App might request access to certain features on your new phone, such as microphone and contacts. You can choose to allow or deny these permissions.
5. Enjoy Text App on Your New Device!
Once you've completed these steps, you should be taken to the Text App home screen. If you had an active subscription on your old phone, it should automatically restore on your new device.
Restoring Your Subscription (if needed):
In rare cases, your subscription might not automatically restore. If you see a subscription prompt, simply tap "Restore" to reinstate your existing plan.
Once the restoration is successful, your Text App number will be fully functional on your new phone.
