How can I block a contact on Text App?

Blocking a contact on Text App is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:

Method 1: From the Recents Tab

1. Open the Text App.

2. Tap on the Recents tab at the bottom of the screen.

3. Find the number you want to block and tap the (i) icon next to it.

4. On the user profile screen, tap Block this Caller.

Method 2: From the Chats Tab

1. Open the Text App.

2. Tap on the Chats tab at the bottom of the screen.

3. Find the chat with the contact you want to block.

4. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the chat.

5. Select “Block” from the menu.

Once a contact is blocked, they will be unable to contact you through Text App.

Please note that blocking a contact within Text App does not universally block the number from reaching you through other communication channels.
