I Deactivated Text App, But I’m Still Being Charged. Why?

Deactivating the Text App itself doesn't stop your subscription from renewing. To prevent further charges, you need to cancel your subscription directly through the App Store.


Here's why:

  • Text App doesn't handle subscriptions: The app itself doesn't manage your subscription or payments.

  • App Store controls billing: All in-app purchases and subscriptions are managed through your App Store account settings.


To cancel your subscription:

  • Go to your device's Settings.

  • Find the App Store section.

  • Manage your subscriptions.

  • Locate the Text App subscription and cancel it.


Important: Ensure you cancel before your next billing cycle to avoid additional charges.
